Jessica Muñoz is the President and CEO of Voices for Children. Voices for Children is the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program serving San Diego and Riverside Counties and the Pechanga Tribe. Before becoming VFC’s CEO in 2023, Jessica led Voices for Children’s Riverside County program. Jessica is an attorney and practiced for more than seven years, including as a trial attorney in juvenile dependency courts. Prior to joining Voices for Children in 2016, she developed and coordinated a program at UC San Diego to provide support services to students who are undocumented. In addition to her law degree, she holds a Master of Forensic Science degree and a professional certificate in nonprofit management. Jessica is a past chair of the County of San Diego – Juvenile Justice Commission and served on the board of the San Diego Civic Youth Ballet. Her professional affiliations include the State Bar of California, Leadership Riverside, and The Fieldstone Leadership Network. Jessica was also named the 2022 Juvenile Law Attorney of the Year by the Riverside County Bar Association.

Since 2014 Amy Blackwell has been providing Insurance and Financial Services to families and businesses within the Inland Empire and surrounding counties.  In 2016, Amy opened her own State Farm Agency in Murrieta and expanded the industry leading solutions for her customers to include Financial Planning, Mortgage Loans and Debt consolidation.

With a mission to educate people on the risks of everyday life, Amy and her team created a system to make sure they contact each and every customer on an annual basis to make sure the plan they put in place last year is keeping up with their lifestyle today.  One of the most common talking points in her agency is “we’d rather explain and have you understand your coverages 5 years too early than 1 minute too late”.

From the early beginnings of her agency, Amy has been passionate about being involved with community events and fundraisers. Over the years she has been involved with Habitat for Humanity Playhouse builds, Brush with Kindness events, Lake Elsinore Home build, Quotes for Good, Blood Drives, PWR Peanut Butter Drive, Murrieta Food Pantry Deliveries and many more.

In addition to her love of helping others, Amy finds great joy in being with family and friends.  Weekend activities include bicycling in the hills of wine country, hiking with her husband and dogs, local camping trips, and spending time with her grandkids. She also has a love for travel and can be often found planning her next annual overseas excursion.
